ODS Receives ‘Carrier of the Year’ Award

Portland, Ore. - The ODS Companies (ODS) was recently named “Carrier of the Year” by the Oregon Association of Health Underwriters (OAHU). The award was presented at OAHU’s annual convention. The award honors insurance carriers for displaying exceptional leadership in the industry, excellence in broker and agent communications and consistent education on products and services.

“Agents who nominated ODS for ‘Carrier of Year’ identified a number of areas where ODS excelled at its partnership with agents and brokers. There was a strong sense that ODS valued their input and had improved upon an already strong relationship,” said OAHU President Tina Kennedy.

“We are honored to receive this award,” said Scott Loftin, ODS Marketing Manager. “We are committed to our agents and brokers and have taken a number of steps this year—including a new quarterly online update—to keep them informed about what is going on at ODS. We plan to continue building this partnership for many years to come.”

OAHU represents over 700 local professional health insurance agents and brokers. OAHU is an affiliate of National Association of Health Underwriters, with 19,000 members nationwide, who service the insurance needs of millions of Americans.
